At All
Saints we firmly believe that the younger members of our Church
Family are
“The Church of Today”. On a Sunday morning there is a sound proof
Family
Room which has the Sanctuary Visible and a radio link to the
worship, it is
well equipped with soft toys. Young people over the age of five
may be
dropped off at 9.45 and collected at 11.15, usually they enjoy their
own
style and level of worship for the first 30minutes.
On
the
first Sunday of each month we all worship together and the young
people take
a leading role in the service.
We
have
two “Young Peoples Groups”: ‘The Holy Kids’ that roughly covers Key
Stage 1
and the Holy Teens that covers those from year 7 and above along
with some
from Key Stage 2 who have been admitted to Holy Communion.
On
the
First Sunday of the month the Holy Kids meet from 4pm to 5.30pm for a
fun
time of learning they are usually joined by the Holy Teens who stay
on for
Benediction at 6pm. The Holy Teens meet on the 3rd
Wednesday
from 6-7pm for their own discussion group.
At
All
Saints we take Child Protection seriously, have two Child Protection
Officers and ensure that anyone who works with young people has up
to date
CRB clearance. |
